The Fresh Pond House project presented a unique opportunity to redesign a home with breathtaking waterfront views. The homeowners wanted to completely reimagine their house from a modern design perspective while maximizing their connection to the surrounding water. Throughout the design process, we collaborated with the clients to compare various room layouts, including options with and without roof decks, to ensure the home met both their aesthetic and functional needs. Given the environmental and geological constraints of the property, we worked closely with Surfside Environmental to overcome challenges related to the water table and land use. The final design incorporates large windows, open spaces, and modern amenities that fully capitalize on the property’s potential, providing the homeowners with a waterfront retreat that’s both luxurious and practical.
