COMMON QUESTIONS

What type of work do we do?

We are a small, versatile firm specializing in custom home architecture, new builds, major and minor renovations, additions, legalizations, and rental certifications. We also design I/A septic systems, often required for larger home additions. With experience in various residential and eco-friendly projects, we provide tailored solutions to meet your architectural needs, including modern home construction and sustainable design options.

Why do I need a local architect?

A local architect ensures your home is designed to fit seamlessly with the unique surroundings of the East End of Long Island and complies with local building regulations. We create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable spaces. By providing detailed concrete home building plans to your builder, we help reduce costs and time during construction. As a local firm, we also connect you with the best custom home builders and are readily available to address questions during the build.

What is involved in the design process?

We begin by meeting with you to understand your vision and preferences. Next, we perform a zoning study to explore your lot's potential. With this, we create custom sketches to visualize your project. Once the concept is finalized, we move into Design Development, using specialized software to create detailed plans. After approval, we handle permitting and construction drawings for a seamless transition to building.
