For the Town Lane project, a local developer-builder approached us to design a speculative house that would stand out while blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The brief was to create a modern interpretation of the classic Shingle style home that is so iconic to the Hamptons. The expansive site provided preserved forested views, which became a focal point in our design process. We incorporated a modern home design that maximized these scenic views, crafting large windows and strategic layouts to create a connection between the indoor living spaces and the forest beyond. The house needed to not only capture these views but also maintain a distinct presence amidst the trees. By using a mix of modern and traditional architectural elements, we were able to design a home that feels both timeless and fresh. This project showcases ZTC Architecture’s ability to deliver custom home architecture that respects the natural environment while providing modern amenities and design features that appeal to today’s homebuyers.
