Contemporary Gable Vacation Home with Atrium and Bay Views
Cove Hollow
reflections
The Cove Hollow project was a collaboration with a local real estate firm to design a modern gable house for a speculative vacation property. The primary design element was a striking double-height atrium that became the heart of the home, orienting the living space toward the pool deck and providing expansive views of the bay beyond. Our design focused on creating a fluid connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, making the most of the natural landscape. The open layout and large glass windows ensured that the homeowners would have unobstructed views of the pool from the first level, while the opposite side of the atrium offered beautiful vistas of the bay from the roof level. At ZTC Architecture, we specialize in designing vacation homes that balance modern home design with the natural environment, creating spaces that are both luxurious and functional.
